Roast & Processing

Beans undergo a meticulous fully washed process, ensuring sediment-free clarity and flavor consistency. They are sun-dried on raised African beds to ensure even drying.

  • Roast Curve: Fast, high-heat “Cinnamon” roast to highlight enzymatic flavors.
  • Sorting: Optical and hand-sorted to remove defects (Specialty Grade 1).

Harvest & Origin Data

Sourced exclusively from high-altitude regions in Eastern Uganda (Mount Elgon), where the volcanic soil and cool temperatures create dense, sugar-rich beans.

  • Altitude: 1,600 – 2,100 MASL (Strictly High Grown).
  • Variety: SL14, SL28, and Nyasaland.
